Kevin Lo is a Montreal-based graphic designer who creates images that empower, engage, and oppose. His work is grounded in a social understanding of the role of design, emphasizing collaboration and community building, critical research, cultural engagement and typographic craft. Kevin's art has been widely published, exhibited and awarded, and he regularly presents on the intersections of design practice and grassroots activism.
S'en Calisse is one of several visualisations / materialisations created of chants and slogans that were used during the 2012 student strike in Quebec, during which half of the student population took to the streets in opposition to the provincial government.
This limited-edition art print is made using archival pigment inks on premium metallic photographic paper, and includes a certificate of authenticity. The listed dimensions are for the final paper size, and include a 1/2 inch margin for framing.
