Michael O. Snyder has worked as a photographer, filmmaker, social innovator and educator in Japan, Scotland, Uganda, New Zealand, India, Hawai'i and Ecuador. He is currently based in Washington, D.C. where he is the founder and director of Interdependent Pictures, a media production studio working with environmental and social-good organizations.
- Breathing Life is an exploration of the unity of human and non-human form created in partnership with Washington Parks & People, One Common Unity and Interdependent Pictures, Washington D.C. based organizations with a unified mission to breathe life into urban green spaces and connect urban communities to the earth. The pieces were created using an in-camera double exposure technique to blend the human body with natural forms. The images were shot in Washington D.C.'s Meridian Hill / Malcolm X Park with local yoga instructors Hawah Kasat and Helena W. Snyder as practitioners.
This limited-edition art print is made using archival pigment inks on premium matte photographic paper, and includes a certificate of authenticity. The listed dimensions are for the final paper size, and include a 1/2 inch margin for framing.
